Choose a filmed or AI workflow
To do the window dance trend, show a person dancing behind a lit window, bring the viewer closer, then end with eye contact and a curtain close. You can record a staged scene or use an AI tool that supports dance motion. WindowPeeper AI does not currently generate this video.
How to prepare and edit the clip
Use the steps below to build a short sequence with a clear beginning and ending. For a filmed version, agree on the camera position and reaction with the performer. For an AI version, check template support before uploading a photo; output quality and available controls depend on the tool.
- Prepare the subject. For AI, select a sharp photo of yourself or an adult who gave permission. For filming, use a room and window you control, and light the performer so their face and movement remain visible.
- Set the opening view. Show the window and enough of the building or room to establish where the dancer is. Leave space around the body so hands and arms do not disappear outside the frame.
- Add the dance and camera approach. Choose a simple movement that repeats clearly. Move the camera closer in a filmed take, or describe that approach in a supported AI template or prompt.
- Record or generate the reaction. Let the subject notice the viewer, pause and close the curtain. Review the sequence for a clear change from dancing to reacting. For AI output, also inspect the face and hands.
- Finish the edit. Crop for your chosen feed, trim pauses that do not serve the scene, and add sound you have permission to use. Watch the exported clip with captions and audio before sharing it.
